S2 Week 8 - Tuesday (4/1)

 Happy Week 8!

Today, we went over newsletters and reviewed four types of sentences.

Please note that there will NOT be a unit test on Satchel Paige this week due to the shortened schedule. Thank you for your understanding!

The scope for the fifth-grade midterms should be stapled in your child's communication book. If you don’t have it, you can access it here. 

Additionally, I wanted to inform you that I will not be at school on Monday and Tuesday. I will return on Wednesday, when we will be having our listening exam. The oral exam will take place on Thursday and Friday. Please encourage your child to prepare diligently for these exams. I've also assigned homework for the days I will be absent.

S2 Week 4 - Friday (3/7)

 Happy Week 4! Today, we completed our unit test for Thunder Rose. Students did NOT receive their tests back today, please expect them on Monday instead! We also took time in class to go through the parts of a friendly letter again. I have asked students to complete a letter addressed to their future selves in 15 years. If they did not have time to finish in class, then they should finish it at home. Their letter should at least be a full page of writing.  I have a link below for more guidance of the friendly letter.
